Siddhartha's Intent Europe Events

Intensive Madhyamaka Studies with Do Tulku Rinpoche & Arne Schelling

1 - 10 February 2019
6:00pm - 2:00pm

This intensive nine-day program is a detailed study of one of the most famous classical Madhyamaka texts, Madhyamakavatara (Entrance to the Middle Way), composed by the great Indian master Chandrakirti in the 7th century. The teachings will be based on Chandrakirti´s auto-commentary and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche’s commentary (which can be from Siddhartha's Intent).

Rinpoche will teach the entire Madyamakavatara with special emphasis on its largest and most important sixth chapter, which deals primarily with wisdom. No prior knowledge of Madhyamaka is required, only great enthusiasm for intensive study, investigation and analysis of this ancient text. Teachings will be in English.

Our teacher: Do Tulku Rinpoche is a young, well-learned Tibetan master, who completed an 11-year study program at Dzongsar Institute, India. He was recognized by Kyabje Sakya Trichen, and was sent by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche to live and teach in Europe. There will be a daily Q&A session in the afternoon with Arne Schelling, one of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's appointed instructors.

Dates and place: The course will take place from the 1st of February 2019 (evening) until the 10th of February 2019 (lunch time) at the Aryatara Dharmacenter, 80 km from Cologne. Adress:  Auf dem Kuppen 8, 51570 Windeck, Germany
